This is the fourth and best generation of the World Piste. K-2 recognized the demands of the modern free-heeler and provide it with this modernized ski. We feel that this is the best ski that K-2 makes for all conditions. The World Piste has a very popular profile, like the Rossi Dirty Bird except made with a wood core, metal screw inserts, and a top sheet configuration that improves the longitudinal flex without sacrificing torsional rigidity. Many other ski manufacturers have followed K-2’s lead by incorporating a unique metal, Titanal, into the top sheet. Now you can say she skis Tight n all! Seriously, this metal is light, strong, and has many attributes that allow a light ski to last the test of time.
